About: Yukimura is a cheerful person that doesn't take much seriously. In the first place he has always been a very cheerful person filled with energy, but he has a tendency to exaggerate the cheerful attitude, for various reasons. Sometimes he does it to get people that are sad or upset in any way to think about other things, by making them either laugh at his antics, or make them angry over them, and sometimes he does it when he doesn’t want to think about heavy, depressing things. Because he comes from the Warring States Period in Japan, he grew up in a nation filled with discord, and he has lost many people dear to him. To conceal his wounds, he keeps smiling and laughing.
He’s a huge flirt that has pretty much no preferences. He likes both men and women and anything inbetween, and he has his own opinion of what makes a person cute. He’s a person that can call just about anyone ever cute or pretty, either because their appearance or their personality or both appeals to him. So he flirts with anyone, really, and sometimes he has a tendency to be unable to keep his hands to himself. But he has no actual interest in romance. Sex and adopting people into his little odd family of misfits and people that doesn’t have anywhere to go is one thing but actually forming a romantic connection with someone is a completely different one. This is because the girl that he loved, Mizuki, was killed during a night raid and died in front of his eyes, and he has been unable to love anyone romantically ever since. He loves the way a parent or a sibling does, with all his heart, but not like a lover loves.
It’s only when people that he loves or cares about get hurt or seriously threatened that he stops acting silly. When that happens, all pretense and real cheer goes out the window and he turns into a deadly monster that oozes murder. Nobody hurts those that he cares about and gets away with it, and only death awaits if someone does harm any one of them. In an instant he goes from friendly and annoying to someone that you really don’t want to mess around with. He doesn’t want to ever lose someone important to him again, so he will protect them at any cost, much to the distress of his closest friends, the Ten Braves. He has a Body Double and she’s technically supposed to take his place in any dangerous situation but he doesn’t want her to protect him at the cost of her life.
On the other hand, while he doesn’t like discord and war, he does love to fight against strong opponents. Being very strong himself, there are a lot of people that can’t even come close to his level, but those that do are great to be around, because the samurai blood in him boils for a good challenge. He wants to grow stronger constantly, and he’s always willing to put in an effort. Fighting strong opponents help with that but when he fights he also feels the great thrill of the danger and the joy of feeling so very alive. He feels really alive when he has fun with his precious people as well, but he feels alive in a completely different way when he fights someone really strong. His favorite opponent if Demon Eyes Kyo, a notorious murderer. Although in actuality Kyo’s name was used by another person to kill people and plenty of those murders were not committed by him, but he is still insanely strong, and pretty much the only person that has actually defeated Yukimura in a proper fight.
He has the tendency to wander, and often uses an alias (Genjiro, most commonly) while he roams the country. In reality he is supposed to be in exile and stay at Mt. Kudo, but he doesn’t care. His precious Braves takes turns for him to make it appear as if he’s still there (mainly this is Kousuke’s job, since she looks like a genderbent version of Yukimura) and he is thus free to be a wanderer all he wants. He even takes part in tournaments and tries to assassinate the shogun at one point, because it was because of the shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu, that Mizuki died and he can’t forgive him for that. Because of his relationship towards the current shogun he has become a bit of an anarchist and he has no problem with bashing Ieyasu openly, like calling him "that swine Tokugawa", even in front of Tokugawa's own son (even if said son pretends like he's not related to Ieyasu).
He’s a mischief maker and a person that enjoys teasing others, but he is also very clever and it’s not odd that the shogun fears his prowess as a general. Because Yukimura can be both manipulative and sly, and there are many things that he can do to reach his goals, even if he has to do something dirty. But to be fair, he has killed so many people on the battle field and in fights that he has lost count, so he’s not entirely bothered by doing filthy things. He infiltrates the Mibu Clan to learn their secrets and gain the upper hand in the future, and twists his way all the way to befriending the people at the top to save a friend, besides the information gathering. The Mibu Clan are people that have, for generations, controlled the country from the shadows, and they tend to be very hard to manipulate, yet he is able to maneuver withing their politics perfectly fine, even while (or possibly because) he acts as silly as normal. His ridiculous attitude is convenient for a lot of things.
Because he’s a loving, caring person that sincerely cares about people, no matter who they might be or where they come from, he is very popular. Because he is very clever and a great strategist and commander (another side that tends to be hidden) he is feared by his enemies and people are hesitant to anger him. Because he is an insanely strong warrior, he is both admired and feared. He has climbed his way up among the renowned generals during the turbulent era that he calls home among hundreds of generals, and is one of the most well known out there.
Inventory: Katana, kodachi, sake bottle, dango, a purse with some money, a calligraphy brush and ink.
Feature Type: A fox, with ears and tail that matches his dark hair (except those tips, they're white. If possible I'd like the tips of his hair to go white as well to match, if that's alright?). His nails has turned slightly pointy, like claws, and he's teeth like a fox, too.
What are your plans with this character? Basically just let him have fun and be silly, and maybe get some chances to be less silly. I don't know exactly.

Yukimura was unnecessarily excited, to be honest. He has no clue what is going on except that he's been kidnapped, and no idea what the metal can they arrived with is besides it being some sort of ship, from what he has heard. But new experiences and new places to see for someone with a wanderlust from a small island kingdom like Japan had got to be worthwhile. Not that he knew if it would or not, but just meeting new people and seeing new places were enough for him. That and maybe some alcohol and to get laid once in a while, he supposed.
So! He simply had to set off exploring, and he's a nimble and fast man, so he moves around the forest (and the ship) easily, climbing every tree and sometimes trying to catch animals even though some might be different. But he grabbed a stick, so he should be fine, he is certain of it. Besides, he is able to defeat heavily armored men with only a fishing pole, he knows fully well that it's the use of the weapon and not the quality that matters the most.
He really should stop sneaking up on people (or wild animals), though.
Or flirt with them, for that matter. The people, not the animals. But he can flirt with anyone, man or woman doesn't matter, nor does appearance. He just does love talking to people and he isn't bothered even if he's treated as if he's a bother. Honestly, angry reactions could be just s entertaining as smooth or playful ones. That was what was so interesting about people! They were all so very different, and he loved that!
